Tis a beautiful day in Illinois to make some money. I ordered a gallon of Griots spray on wax that I’m excited to receive today. No more buying $10 oz bottles. Gonna be a good day.

That is a good looking LS.

How is your training going? Having fun learning all about Lexus? You picked a great time to get on board. Lexus is finally catching up to where everyone else has been for the last three years.

Thank you, I am every day impressed with how glass- like this 20 year old paint is. I need to motivate myself to fix the rear wheel arch rust bubbles before they eat the metal away. Hardest part will be blending some fresh 202 black paint and clear coating it to match. The griots spray wax is an awesome product too, easy to apply and i’m hoping it repels dirt and dust a bit better than the meguirs/turtle wax products i’ve used on a regular basis.

My training is going really well, I genuinely love my job. Ive never been able to say that. My coworkers are amazing and helpful, not a bunch of salesman sharks who want to sink me. I knocked out my first 15 training modules and ive gotten to do a lot of hands on in car playing around. On a slow day I just grab a few sets of keys and play in the lot, listening to music on the stereo and messing with the voice commands.

Ive been told I have the technical aspects of the job down very well already, I can pretty much hop in a car ive never played with and figure out whatever feature the customer doesnt understand. Im excited for the new 2020 RX’s to come in with the new touch screen and android auto installed. RX’s are boring but they have the most tech in them and they still have beautiful leather-lined interiors.

Im continuously impressed with lexus’s approach to customer and employee feedback on their training and products. They realize satisfying their cus tomers and listening to what us employees have to say is imperative to having customers for life and staying competitive and relevant in terms of quality and features. The brand just kicks ass and the cars work and work and work.

I think ive convinced a coworker to pick up an Ls, she was really impressed with my knowledge on the cars and how CHEAP they are for their level of luxury and technology. Shes had a string of supercharged Buick Rivera’s and the LS is much more advanced and well-made for being from the same age. Gives me an excuse to peruse the local classifieds for boats too lol
